The film Honour Killings aka Rubba Maaf Kareen is based on the burning problem of honour killings in the UK.

This is a story of three friends as an Englishman, a Sardar and a Pathan. They are thick friends and staunch believers in their own ways, being secular and living in UK, they celebrate each others festivals. They are friends in need and friends in deed!

However during minor altercations between the Pathan and the Sardar it's the englishman who soothes the ruffled feathers and mockingly chides them with a threat of deportation.

On the occasion of the Englishman’s daughter marriage in UK, Sardar’s son Sunny who has come from Punjab for further study; meets with Pathan’s daughter Sameera. Both meet again in college. Their friendship develops into a full blown love affair and both can’t live without each other.

Sunny and Sameera’s relationship is objected by their parents. Love has its own reasons and they believe and confident that their parents being liberal and friends will not object to their marriage.

But destiny has something else in store for them.

A friendship between the Sardar and the Pathan turns into enmity.  They don’t listen to their English friend’s advice regarding problem solution.  

There are a lot of questions arise during story progression.
Who will help to the Sameera and Sunny?
What will happen with Love Birds Sameera and Sunny?
Will Sameera and Sunny meet in happy endings or enmity of two friends will destroy their hope?
Will communalism destroy Sameera and Sunny’s life?

Will honour killings solve the problem and will the end justify the means or will better sense prevail!!!

While the climax is totally shocking nothing is disclosed and the curiosity level as well as the suspense is left intact right till the end.
